Hansen Production Facility

Provided crane and heavy haul services for Tesoro at their Kenai refinery. They shut their facility to perform large scale maintenance and upgrades to the existing processing units. Cruz had a total of six cranes onsite for support, which included five 65-75 ton rough terrain cranes and one 230 ton lattice crawler. We utilized the 230 ton lattice crawler to assist in swapping out a 55’ crude processing tower that was older and needed to be replaced with a new one. Leading up to the tower swap there was a month long period of extensive planning and engineering to make sure the pick was performed safely.  The tower swap was classified as the only critical pick of the spring 2018 turnaround.
