About
Cruz barged 24,258 tons of crushed aggregate material from Platinum, Alaska to the mouth of the Kuskokwim River. The material was then lightered utilizing Cruz’s shallow-draft tug and barges, and hauled via trucking to the stockpile location on the Johnson River. Cruz rehabilitated both airport runways, as well as performing upgrades to the electrical and lighting systems. Additionally, Cruz constructed a new SREB and relocated the existing SREB for the Atmautluak Airport.
